In his memoir, Moore provides a first-person account of his service during World War II and the people and experiences he encountered along the way. “We were a B-24 bomber crew,” Moore writes, “our ten and twelve hour missions were entirely over the wide Pacific, and on a couple of occasion we brushed very close to history.
